The Lyrics

Beep! Beep! Beep! (etc etc)

See me drive out of the car park
I'm not going far
In my huge leviathan
That I call a car
Spare wheel on the tailgate
Bull-bars on the front
Don't need no gun
To take your life...
..just a little shunt

In my S.U.V. - My four-by-four
S.U.V. - Foot to the floor
S.U.V. - I own the road
S.U.V. - Watch me explode

I park, I'm ace, I'm in your space
Won't park by the street
I know just on how big it is...
To the nearest five feet
So check in your mirror
I'm right up there
So what if I can't stop
Hell, I don't care
If you've sense - get out my way
Come on, punk... make my day

In my S.U.V. - I never thank
S.U.V. - 'Cause I'm in a tank
S.U.V. - Never been off-road
S.U.V. - What's the highway code?

S.U.V. - Beep! Beep! Beep!
S.U.V. - Beep! Beep! Beep!
S.U.V. - Beep! Beep! Beep!
S.U.V. - I'm always right
S.U.V. - My driving is shite
S.U.V. - Then I lose control
S.U.V. - Watch me roll!

The Highway code for AC/DC parodies are of course 666 but you´ll have to settle for 555.
John Barry: Do you consider ABBA´s "Summernight City" less obscure, there might be possibilities along the lines of "Hummers are shitty" or something like that there.

Food for thought, Know. Or maybe something on the Spoonful's "Summer in the City."

You know, JB, I think you might have something with "Hummer in the City"... but I guess your first comment must have vanished because someone took exception to your initial song title.

Phil, Someone's already done "Hummers in the City," so I've just finished "Hummer in the City," with a different spin. Again--liked your "SUV."

extra points for working the name of a Thomas Hobbes book in there

You mean "Leviathan", Billy? Have to admit that I quite liked the "In my huge leviathan/That I call a car" line (almost as much as the "I know just how big it is/To the nearest five feet" one). Anyway, thanks JB & BF
