The Lyrics

Well, after taking a brief vacation, it's about time I got back to parody writing! This time, I wrote a parody about one of my favorite movies, Ghostbusters. Enjoy.
When there’s spooky things
Loose in the city,
And they’re messin’ with the people,
It’s not pretty.
When the PK level’s risin’,
What are you gonna do?
When your refrigerator’s possessed,
Who do you turn to?

Pick up your telephone, don’t you stall,
And you gotta call
Just call the Ghostbusters!

They’re the best around,
Ready to believe.
With their proton packs,
They will always relieve
The town of any ghostly entities,
And keep them locked away.
If it becomes necessary,
Then they’ll even save the day.

If there’s something strange in your neighborhood,
Call them if it ain’t good.
Just call, call, call, call!

[guitar solo]

Just call the Ghostbusters!
Ghostbusters, nothin’ will ever keep them down.
Ghostbusters, look out, look out, look out.
Ghostbusters, they’re the ones to call.
Ghostbusters, bustin’ makes ‘em feel good.
Ghostbusters; just call, call, call, call; just call!

Ray Stantz: Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night?

Egon Spengler: Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic?

Peter Venkman: Have you or your family ever seen a spook, specter or ghost?

Stantz: If the answer is "yes," then don't wait another minute. Pick up the phone and call the professionals...

All: Ghostbusters!

Stantz: Our courteous and efficient staff is on call 24 hours a day to serve all your supernatural elimination needs.

All: We're ready to believe you!

It's really funny and you can laugh about what's going on. Brilliance restored in it's pace and at it's own time. Go and see this movie and it will make you want to scream for more!
