The Lyrics

This was triggered by a news item that the EV Version of the Mustang, the Mustang Mach E, just wasnt ready for Prime Time. It was recalled because the engines kept stalling out at inopportune, not to mention dangerous moments; eg, when moving thru an intersection. I was thinking about calling this Mustang Karen, except I actually have a kid sister named Karen, who has suffered enough
Mustang Ka-, .. I mean Sally
Guess they'll have to tow your Mustang now
Mustang Sally, now Baby
Guess they'll have to tow your Mustang now
Its been stalling all over town
Ooh, Guess you'll have to beat
Your flat feet on the ground (What I say now)

Now all you have to is stride along, Sally
Stride, Sally, Strike
All you have to Do-ooh is stride along Sally
Stride, Sally, stride
All you have to do is HIKE AROUND, Sally
Hike, Sally, Hike
ALL thats left to do is hike around, Sally
Hike, Sally, Hike
One of these early evenings
Ooh, got to be rubbing your .. aching soles

Listen to me

I bought you a brand new EV
About a Two thousand twenty four
And now you come around kvetchifying, Woman
That you caint even drive to the store
Mustang Sally, now Baby
Guess they had to tow your Mustang down
You've been hiking all over town
WHOOH! Gotta beat your flat feet on the ground

Now all you wanna do is hike around, Sally
(Hike, Sally, hike) ...

(Well, that was a bit of fun. In order to fill out this post, Id like to repost a parody (with a few changes) that I did 11 years ago, which means the vast majority of you have never seen this. The premise here is "What if Wilson Picket had converted to Islam?" He might, or might not, have sung this)

Muslim Salli (Wallah)
Guess you better slow your Islam down
Muslim Salli, ya Binti*
Guess you better slow your Islam down
You been prayin' all over town
Guess I'll have to pull your black burqa
Off the ground, (Ma aqool, now)

Now all you wanna do is praise Allah, Salli
(Allah, Salli, Allah)
All you wanna Do-OOH! is praise Allah, Salli
(Allah, Salli, Allah)
All you wanna do is PRAISE Allah, Salli!
(Allah, Akbar, Allah)
ALL you wanna do is praise Allah, Salli
( Allah, Salli, Allah)

One of these Friday mornings
YA MA! Gonna be dustin' your .. praying rug!

Tashoof Hina ..

I bought you a brand new Quran
And nice new black chador
Now you come around prostratin', Sittun
That I aint your akbar any more
Muslim Salli, yaa Bintun
Guess you better slow your Islam down
You been praying all over town
WA'IL! Gonna yank your burqa off the ground

Now all you wanna do is praise Allah, Salli
Allah, Salli Allah ...

*All the Arabic words are close approximations of the same English words in the OS .. "Ya Binti" technically means "Oh my girl"
