Song Parodies -> "The Bear Responsabilities"

Original Song Title:

"The Bare Necessities"

Original Performer:

Walt Disney

Parody Song Title:

"The Bear Responsabilities"

Parody Written by:

Anna Pitchford and Johanna Wright

The Lyrics

Look for the bear responsibilities
The simple bear responsibilities
Forget about the curry and the wife
I mean the bear responsibilities
Old Mother Nature's great book
That brings the bear responsibilities to life.

Whenever it thunders
Whenever it rains
I couldn't be fonder of my big book
The book is made just for me
Just to make me become
The most responsible bear alive
So take a glance at the book

So the bear responsibilities
Will come to you
They'll come to you

Look for the bear responsibilities
The simple bear responsibilities
Forget about the curry and the wife
I mean the bear responsibilities
The great book of responsibilities
That makes a bear responsible through life

The bear responsibilities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

Anna and Johanna...I'm not gonna vote on this, just give you a bit of advice. You really need to get the pacing right.."responsibilities" is two syllables longer than "necessities", so when you try to sing it, you can't. It's also important for it to rhyme, e.g "rain" doesn't rhyme with"book". And I wasn't quite sure what it was about. I'm guessing you guys are quite young...don't worry, keep writing..all the best!!
