Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Mac195 beat me to the punch again. I hope you enjoy this version, Mac.
The loveliness of Paris
Seems somehow sadly gay---
I've been through parts of Rome
That were so extremely gay--
Though I've shopped a bit on Melrose.....
And club-hopped in Greenwich Village.....
I'm more at home
Where there's civil rights for gays......

I wed my spouse
In San Francisco
At City Hall
One day last week;

We rode that little cable car
Right past our favorite bar
And pledged our troth
E-ter-
Nally
On TV--

We paid our fee
To San Francisco
We're Gavin New-
Som's history--

Married and free
We two,
San Francisco;
Our golden buns
We'll shine for thee!

Nice job, Bob! Don't know if you know any of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's songs. I did a similarly themed parody called "By The Way, Gay's OK" a couple days ago. 'Course the "Peppers" are a bit more raucus than Tony Bennett.

Funny stuff, Bob. I'm sure this will top Mayor "Any Two-some" Newsom's hit parade.

Not bad, Bob. The part about the golden buns was pretty funny.

Good parody, but I had to deduct for rhyming "gay" with "gay" and "gays." 5-4-4
