First off, the pacing would be improved by turning the key line into "the liar sleeps tonight..." Regardless, I'm not sure I get the point you're making...

The only thing I don't get is the verse about sleeping near the children. I mean, isn't that more humorously suitable for, say, Michael Jackson?

This was EXCELLENT parody. It s/b easy to parody this icehole who has TWICE cheated his way into office, but unfortunately the media have checked out their spine. The religious nitwits refuse to hold the AWOL drunk George Bush Jr. accountable for anything because he lies to them and tells the A'holes that he is 'saved'. Get a grip, how many Americans have been killed since the useless son of a bush has cheated his way in? Actions speak louder than words. Even at today's (22Sep) staged press conference George Bush Jr. could not keep it together.

Huh? Maxx..you are reading an awful lot into this parody. It's your imagination that says excellent because you want to believe GBHD wrote AGAINST the President. It was actually only about the President sleeping at night.
