The Lyrics

A musical tribute to American literature's most famous fictional court-martial
(Verse 1)You're a head case,Mr.Queeg,
You're really quite insane.....
There's a fundamental defect somewhere deep inside your brain,

(Interlude)It's a mystery why the Navy...
Put you in command of the Caine!

(Verse 2)You're a tyrant,Mr.Queeg,
The whole crew hates your guts...
Even the lowliest ensign can see you're just plain nuts,

(Interlude)You've had a complete mental breakdown....
On that there's no if's,and's or but's!

(Verse 3)You're a psycho,Mr.Queeg,
Completely flipped your lid...
No normal man would rant about strawberries like you did,

(Interlude)And let me tell you quite frankly....
I thank Jesus that I ain't your kid!

(Verse 4)You're a nutbar,Mr.Queeg,
Psychotic to the core....
Naval recruits all dread you from Juneau to Baltimore,

(Interlude)It's incompetent wackos like you....
who almost cost us the Second World War!

It has been ages since I read the Caine Mutney. Good use of the original song. He made me think of some college teachers.
