It made me laugh, but it was weak at points
Ooh, I tell ya, Bobby Murcer, this was unbelievable. That huckleberry with the gumballs, holy cow, he cracks me up. I might have to go home early. I gotta get over that bridge...and that chorus...and that third verse... hey, Florio! Lay off that cannoli! I need it for the sixth inning!

(G - round) Claude - Great stuff! I see you and Spaff are now in the "Parody Super-Gods Division"of the "ABC Contests", far above the rest of us mortal writers I glad you both still get to make posting into the contests, they wouldn't be as much fun without your stuff.
This made me laugh out loud. Not LOL, but actually LAUGH. OUT. LOUD. Johnny Dangle named my favorite section, but "Who the hell cares?" is a great line, and also answers that question in the original quite splendidly.

It was good...I'm not too familiar with the original (I know it, but not well), but enjoyed it anyway.
(delayed abc's comment) Another one I thought I already commented on. You had to stretch the pacing in some places, but lines like "His dentist drives Ferraris, his parents take the bus" made everything worth it. Great work, Claude.
