The Lyrics

The place were 'Evil Wendy' and I work is going through a sh*tstorm right now. It's being bought out/sold off, customers and employees alike are leaving left and right for ships that AREN'T sinking. Since we are the few remaining original employees, we wrote this song to illustrate our plight...
This place is really screwed. It’s true
I dread about it day and night, it gives me fright
This thing to them is out of mind…means out of sight
We’re stuck here together

But when you call them up they say it’s fine
No matter what the numbers say we’re just divine
I wish they’d pucker up and kiss…my big behind
We’re stuck here together

I can’t see me working all day here, can you?
‘Cuz I’m so tired
If I can’t wake myself up very soon
I might get fired

Me and you, doomed here to be
Stuck in this Charlie F-O-X, T-R-O-T*
No matter how they dress it up, it’s lunacy
We’re stuck here together

I can’t see me working all day here, can you?
‘Cuz I’m so tired
If I can’t wake myself up very soon
I might get fired

Me and you…should get some sleep
They’ve got no cust'mers anyway…there ain’t a peep
The bullsh*t that they shovel here…is ankle deep
We’re stuck here together…

(overlapping ‘yawn’ chorus)

I guess it’s me and you, just you and me
The higher ups are blinded by…stupidity
Somebody has to do the work, so as you see…
We’re stuck here together

We’re stuck here together
Beer’d make it better…
We’re stuck here together
Wish we were unfettered**
We’re stuck here together
It’s taking forever…
We’re stuck here together…
Just stuck here together…

* Charlie Foxtrot is a military term meaning 'cluster-f*ck.' ** unfettered: To set free or keep free from restrictions or bonds.

Yay, TT's favorite band! Liked working in CF, and the "pucker up" line. Would prefer a varied chorus, but 555 for sad, true, and funny.
