This is about former National Review columnist John "Derb" Derbyshire, who was recently fired for writing a racist article for another e-zine. The article basically described how he was teaching his children not to hang out with black people, not to be a Good Samaritan to black people who need help, et cetera. Basically, it's something that wouldn't have been out of place in a Jim Crow-era Southern newspaper.
