Another from our unreleased batch. Peregrin says: I grew up with the Seekers' music in the 60s, when they became Australia's first true musical export to both the U.K. and U.S. (prior to the Bee Gees and the Easybeats). The group were renowned for being EXTREMELY straight-laced (I mean, how many groups feature a double bass player with Clark Kent glasses?), and that's why I came up with the original idea for the parody, the thought of Judith Durham (the lead singer) even thinking about a nudist camp would have had her blushing from head to toe. Judith Durham died on 5 October 2022. R.I.P. Original song on YouTube. (The comment just before the song starts is straight-laced exemplified).

Works especially well because it's the Seekers. Had a laugh at Mister long dong Bernie line. Fit well. Laughed that your one today has a long dong while mine today has a limp ol' tool. Are you only posting finished old ones or are you also finishing unfinished old ones? Are you writing any new ones at the mo?
Thanks Andy! Yes, the juxtaposition between their wholesomeness and the subject matter makes me snigger. I noticed the link between the parodies as well! Nearly everything that is posted are ones that are already finished. There are a couple that were almost finished that I have been trying to add to, I will send them to Merry for her approval though. I have been trying to write some new ones, but I find it difficult as Merry and I would bounce ideas off each other and that seemed to make things so much easier.

Hey Rick! Thanks for the nice comments. Darker is one word for it, I have others, but best not in mixed company... We try to post one every Monday from our back catalogue of unreleased works. Will keep an eye out for yours as well :)
