The Lyrics

Vampire wolves in packs are howling
It's "Twilight" time
Out at the mall, in shadows, prowling
It's "Twilight" time
As purple colored curtains open on the screen
It's time for another "Twilight" scene

Watch out for teenage girls stampeding
They'll grab your seat
This is their source of frenzy feeding
They'll smash your feet
Fresh from the romance novels, basis
For the show,
They're anxious to get their "Twilight" glow

This craze began two thousand eight
First sight of sucking blood - blossomed their bud
With Ed and Bella - had a date
Each one they watch and then - they watch again

Even young mothers crave blood sucking
Alone, they drove
Standing in line, like hens, all clucking
Wild as Karl Rove..
Small babes in arms attending,
In mouth, bottle sticks
They're all here to get their "Twilight" licks

Tired of watching late show plugs
Jay Leno clips we view - next night, Dave, too
Over-exposed are their young mugs,
Like Robert Pattinson, and Dear Kristen..

Deep in the dark, tickets for madness,
Millions were sold
And for those rich producers, gladness
For all the gold
I prayed for series ending, now my pray'rs come true
Last chapter of "Twilight's" fin'lly due

The saga of "Twilight's" nearly through

This flick should hit the billion mark and you parody hit 5's.

Pandering to the tween-teen crowd, eh ? Well, Underworld series is better and no way this approaches anything like "The Avengers"= 555 anyway ;-)

Nice OS match, AFW. I like the way you found a use for the purple-colored curtains in the original. I've never understood the insatiable appetite for bloodsucking night-dwellers then or now. I didn't get some of the US-culture references and I've never seen the series, but don't need to. I'm glad it's ending too but there'll be some new mindless franchise to replace it no doubt. 555s for your usual standard of parodycraft.

Well Done! Never got into the series, but certainly know about it, given all the hype. 555!

Note: Even if this Twilight hits the Billion mark, it STILL will be way behind "Avengers", "Avatar", and "Titanic"!!!
