Parody Song Title:

"Nerds in White Saturns"

Parody Written by:

Leo Keough

Nerds in white Saturns
Never tardy for work
Sweaters with patterns
Ever beaming with smirks

Fruity gay redolence
With pea eyes close-set
Just what their minds sense
I must say I don't get

And I loathe them
Yes, I loathe them
Oh, how I loathe them

Gazing at Playboys
Matters in hand
Lust in their corduroys
I can't understand

Some try to snow me
Thoughts they think I won't grasp
Busted to wannabes
From the head of the class

And I loathe them
Yes, I loathe them
Oh, how I loathe them
Oh, how I loathe them

Nerds in white Saturns
Never absent nor late
Wishing for slatterns
Never scoring on dates

Duty-bound hominids
With tortoise-shell frames
Pencil-neck whiz kids
With no claim to fame

And I loathe them
Yes, I loathe them
Oh, how, I loathe them
Oh, how, I love you

How I loathe them
Yes, I loathe them
Oh, how I loathe them
Oh, how I loathe them

I liked it as well. Leo, you may not realise this but I think your efforts are creeping up into Kristof Robertson territory, i.e Excellent!

Yeah, the title got me too!

Great parody, Leo! I love the OS, along with everything else by the Moody Blues, and I would love to hear a recording of this parody, preferably with background music similar to the recording of the OS. 5s.

Thanks all - Andria, I'm so low-tech I wouldn't have a clue as to how to produce a recording of this parody that I could make available over the internet - And a wakeup call to all - didn't anyone notice the error on the last line of the second to last chorus?
Jason - January 07, 2009 - Report this comment
Was the line in the second-to-last chorus: "I Love You" supposed to read as "I Loathe Them"? Just wondering if thats the error you was referring to.
Leo Keough - January 07, 2009 - Report this comment
That's correct, Jason - My apologies for my sloppy proofreading.

DKTOS, but I love the title switch.
