Parody Song Title:

"Make Me Laugh, Zany Marx Films"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

make me laugh, zany marx films
on the local tee-vee station
they were made back in the thirties
and i watch with admiration
there they go
oh ho ho ho
oh ho ho ho

catch them early in the morning
and i watch that act again
they were great when all together
never boring or mundane
and there they go
oh ho ho ho
oh ho ho ho
and i guess they are the greatest comics known

make me laugh, zany marx films
with their crazy situations
now its time for groucho's witticisms
and some dizzy conversations
oh...oh ho ho ho
oh ho ho ho

make me laugh, zany marx films
now they've struck my funny bone
they just slay me with their noisy exclamations
when i'm stoned
my laughter grows
oh ho ho ho
oh ho ho ho
and i guess they are the greatest comics known

make me laugh, zany marx films
make me laugh, zany marx films
make me laugh, zany marx films

To paraphrase "Duck Soup": "FIVES ARE ON THE WAY! FIVES ARE ON THE WAY!" Hail, FreeRhodia!

Alvin, you're doing the work of three men. Chico, Harpo and Groucho! I was gonna say Moe, Larry and Curley, but you probably wouldn't have appreciated that. Reminds me of the time one of the other Amirighters was harassing Royce, and the Florio brothers leaped to her defense, and I told them, "Just remember, you're fighting for this woman's honor, which is more than she's ever done."
