The Lyrics

Don't Know The Original Song (DKTOS)? It's on YouTube.
I hate my allergies

There's a lot of stuff that makes my sinus spray
Dust and dyes and doggie dander, even your toupee

'Cause I've got allergies
A lot of allergies

Oh no

Why me?

When the pollen and ragweed levels really start to soar
Both my eyes and nostrils drip, and leave spots on the floor

'Cause I've got allergies
A Muttley* snick'ring wheeze

A window shatt'ring sneeze

These bloody allergies
I guess I shouldn't breathe
*Muttley is a Hanna-Barbera animated fictional dog originally voiced by Don Messick with a trademark "wheezy snicker".

More years ago than I can remember, one of the local radio stations had the only copy in town, and bragged about it. I can't hear "Valerie" today without my mind filling in the overdub "KUDL Exclusive".
