The Lyrics

Note: All you "pace mavens" may notice that I added an extra line at the end here ("wish he would go away"). Yes, I did, it was on purpose to complete the piece more fully because, well, because it makes the parody work much better. My understanding is that by noting this up front I should not be penalized for it. I figure I will already have to deal with at least one or two die-hard Bushoids who like to low-ball parodies that knock the fearless leader. So be it...I think that's a small price to pay for being able to exercise my freedom of speech here, don't you?
See the President scowl
he cannot refrain
'Cause he thought he won the war
when he caught Hussein
Unlike Desert Storm
this time we will invade

Duby-yah was schemin'
Our soldiers; now they pay

Now we're in the lurch
A quagmire I would say
We cannot control Najif
so much to our dismay
you know the lies the President told
he won't accept the blame

Duby-yah was schemin'
looks like we all will pay

(Instrumental break)

Now see Duby-yah scowl
he don't know what to say
Listen to him talk
It's like an old replay
And he will not level
with us, not today

'Cause Duby-yah is schemin'
looks like we'll have to pay
we're stuck; we have to stay
we're screwed is what I say
wish he would go away

Unsurprised by the 1s, given the subject matter - shame, it's an excellent parody, Paul :-)

Serafina/Bob/JD/Phil - Thanks! Phil - I wasn't surprised by the "1's". If someone thinks that petty crap like that will influence or intimidate me from writing what I think they are sadly mistaken.
