The Lyrics

Part of my Razzie Race 2005 series. Perhaps of all the Razzie nominees this year, Dirty Love is the most abscure, as it should be. This starred and was written, yes written, by Jenny McCarthy. That should give some idea of how great a movie this is.
Miss McCarthy, who said you could write?
A friend, lover, the butcher, baker?
Because none of them were right.
Now you know you're not the William Goldman of our time.
If I never see your film again, I won't say it's a crime.

Did you think, "It's gonna be a hit.
Yeah, the best film of the year."
The morning sun will soon shine on your gold rasberry.

You never cared for substance or for plot.
Yeah, you just went for the cheap laughs,
Which you never got.
Girlies drowning in menstrual blood. That scene made us snore.
And yet the IMDB tells me you're writing more?

Did you think, "It's gonna be a hit.
Yeah, the best film of the year."
The morning sun will soon shine on your gold rasberry.

If Dirty Love's a tree, then it was doomed to fall.
I am amazed the studio
Released it at all.
The quote "comedy" that we saw just bored us to the end.
I got my tickets comped, my dear, that's all I'm gonna spend.

Did you think, "It's gonna be a hit.
Yeah, the best film of the year."
The morning sun will soon shine on your gold rasberry.

Whoa.
Did you think, "It's gonna be a hit.
Yeah, the best film of the year."
The morning sun will soon shine on your gold rasberry.

Two things: one, before anyone says anything, I apologize for mispelling the band's name. Two, I would to now say that the line "The morning sun will soon shine on your gold rasberry," may now be changed to "The morning sun is shining on..." as this is now accurate. Thank you.
