The Lyrics

This parody was inspired by Scathe's parody posting a few days previous called 'Leave Iraq' with just a slightly different view.
Tojo * was a man who pulled a giant boner,
Sneak attack became his task.
Tojo made a tomb out of the Arizona,
And sunk the California fast.

Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq is what the Dubya bombed.
Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq's still anything but calm.
Iraq mo jo.

Shalom

Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq's still anything but calm.
Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq is what the Dubya bombed.
Iraq, yo!

So now war he's startin' fought he did the U.N.,
With ol' Kofi boy Anann.
How the world he says, "you can't see this thing comin'?
Next I'm gonna bomb Iran".

Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq is what the Dubya bombed.
Iraq, Iraq,
Iraq's still anything but calm.
Get back al qaeda.

Shalom.

Ah, Iraq,
Yeah, Iraq,
Iraq's still anything but calm.
Yeah, Iraq, I-ra-a-a-q-q,
Iraq is what the Dubya bombed.
Ooo, oh.

(Spoken)
Get back al qaeda,
Osama's date will come due,
He may be killed by Jews,
Or some low life trait-ah,
Stay out our home al qaeda.

Ir-a-a-q, Ir-a-a-a-q,
Iraq won't be the last that's bombed.

Why are Pearl Harbor and "Shalom" in an Iraq parody?

He who does not study history is doomed to repeat it.

I see the connection now. Japan bombed the US so the US bombed Iraq.

The US had too much control over Japan's oil supplies so Japan bombed the US. Iraq had too much control over the US's oil supplies so the US bombed Iraq.

good parody, Guy

Question Mark: Pearl Harbor had every bit as much to do with Georgie's fanatical obsession with Saddam as 9/11 did. I think what's happened here is that Guy wanted to get as close to the original lyrics as possible, and ended up sacrificing sense, not to mention humor. He's done much better than this. He'd have been better off turning "Get Back" into "Kojak" and mentioning "Wojo," the cop from "Barney Miller."

Thanks all for taking the time to comment and/or vote. Michael, why are you addressing me in the third person? And yes, not exactly my best work.

He was addressing me.
