The Lyrics

It seems that when I get stuck on something else I can always go back to "Yesterday", one of the great old reliables for parody writing, and after all, there are still some three syllable words that haven't had their own parody based on it.
Rusticate
Where the city lights are far away
And it feels so good to roll in hay
Oh, I should leave to rusticate

Rusticate
From the city I'll deracinate
Got a rural urge so overweight
I'd like to move there yester-date

Why I like it there, I could tell, but will not say't
I'll hint something though, why I'd like to rusticate

Rusticate
My old wife's too superannuate
So I'll need a sub that's up to date
But how I won't enunciate

Why I like it there, I could tell, but will not say't
I'll hint something though, why I'd like to rusticate

New Estate
With menageries that bifurcates
And I'm thinking "cheap" variegate
So I believe I'll rusticate

Mm, mm, mm, mm, mm

Know1, Might have a bit of trouble if the reader has a 6th grade reading level on this one, but great!

I must have that 6th grade reading level Tim mentioned...cause I had to dictionary "Rusticate"...at first I thought it might mean an old ironized girlfriend named, "Kate"....anyway..good work..and a good vocabulary teaser...5's

Thank you Tim, AFW and LadyGaladriel. I had to learn at least five new English words to finish this parody, but that's one of my more or less subcontious goals of this hobby so that's a kind of problem I'll easily endure. :-)

Interesting parody here, Peter. I'll have to consult a dictionary to fully get this, since my vocabulary is 'rusty 'kay'.
