The Lyrics

Since I had trouble with French the first couple of weeks, I thought this would be a good song to parody.I know it doesn't rhyme all the way, but it's still a good way to learn French words.Oui= yesnon= nobon bon= a piece of candytres bon= very goodtres bien= same as tres bonmoi= meCa va (sah- vah)= how's it going? For those who know no French.
You say oui and I say non
I say chocolate, you say a bon bon
is tres bon
You say bonjour and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know when I'll be tres bien
When will this end?
Hello, hello
I know that when you say bonjour
I say hello

I say me, you say moi
I say hi and you ask me "Ca va?"
Ha ha
I say good-bye, and you say Au revoir
Au revoir, Au revoir

I know that when you say goodbye
I say Au revoir

Au revoir, Au revoir
I know that when you say goodbye
I say Au revoir

Why, why, why, why, why, why
I think I will die
Goodbye, bye, bye, bye, bye

Oh, no
You say bonjour and I say hello
Hello, hello
I know that when you say bonjour
I say hello
Hello, hello
I know that when you say goodbye
I say au revoir
Au revoir, au revoir
I know that when you say bonjour I say hello
Hello

Hello, hello, hello
Hello, hello, hello

Speaking of _très bon_, I think you just "sank" any chances of getting a low vote from me... ;-) Well-paced, well-rhymed, clever use of the original text where it was called for. If Swedish were taught in the US as widely as French, I'd be tempted to do a similar parody.

Nice job on a tough tune to parody.

Now why why why why why could you not have used "quoi quoi quoi quoi"?...I suppose it would have sounded too much like a duck with adenoideal problems. Nevertheless, clever. 555.

It's good some what. I was expecting more word like: good job, how is your day...simple every day sentences.
