The Lyrics

I'd never been particularly excited about the Women's High Jump event UNTIL I first saw Miss Amy Acuff, of Austin, TX performing in the Melrose Games a few years back. WOW! A very tall, stunning blonde who also happened to be a world class athlete, too. It didn't hurt that she seemed to prefer skimpy track outfits that tended to draw attention to and accentuate her wonderful body. Anyway, in the recently concluded Games in Athens she performed very well, but finished fourth at 6'6 1/4" as the winner set a new Olympic record, leaping 6'9"record.
Amy sure is tall
Amy's really tall
Amy sure is tall
Next to her I'm small
but I don't care

Finished fourth in women's high jump
Boy, she's got lovely thighs
Her waist comes right up to my eyes
Taking off she leaps in the air
that girl can sure jump high
She posed unclad in Playboy; what a sight

Amy sure is tall
Amy Acuff's tall
Amy sure is tall
And she sure showed it all
she's posin' bare

Didn't win no medals, OK
but that girl sure is prime
Picture her naked; oh-my-my
she's sure got a body sublime
she is so freaking fine
Hoping that she'll open up real wide

Amy sure is tall
sure has got it all
Amy Acuff's tall
And she sure showed it all
and now I stare
Sure would like to ball
this gorgeous girl; so tall
I've got no prayer

DKTOS, Paul, but I look forward to your "WhatFreaks" version, I'm sure it will be a tall Tail, ahh, I mean, a tall tale ....... ;-)

Good. Now try to do one on Michael Phelps - the hunk on the cover of Time who almost lived up to predictions. He won 8 medals, six of which were gold.

Adagio, can't help it, sometimes the "inner pig" in me takes over. JD, haven't done it yet, but I might...2 Eagle, hmmm..."Hunky Dude's" don't hold the same appeal for me, I probably couldn't do him justice, but I do respect his work and accomplishments. Even though it's a race, for some reason I've never found the swimming all that interesting to watch...not even the Women's events. I guess part of it is that with the water splashing and all I can't tell who is who during the race. Track and field is more to my taste as far as viewing.

Awww! Men are pigs! Amy Acuff, indeed! As a feminist and a woman with high moral standards, I would never admit to admiring skater Michael Weiss's "form" during the last winter olympics!
