The Lyrics

So Naked News is about to titillate (so to speak) Britain..
I saw the news tonight, oh boy!
The anchorman not wearing any clothes
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
At their newsreading "staff"

He read the news with nothing on
I guess we're lucky that the desk was there
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd not seen THAT before:
A naked interview or two with someone from the House of Lords

I saw the news tonight, oh boy!
Their luscious weathergirl was naked, too
I knew I should have turned away
But I just had a look
Oh, what a look I took
And does it turn you on?

Woke up, got out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Turned on the telly for the news
What was that? Some naked thews?
Forgot my coat, put down my hat
Missed the bus while watching that
Found my way upstairs and sat back down
Turned the telly on and I went into a dream

Mmmm....

I saw the news today oh boy
Four thousand boobs displayed on telly, here
And though some boobs were rather small
They went and showed them all,
Now the viewing figures show how many millions held in thrall
And does it turn you on...

Good. Americans don't need naked news because we can see right through some of our leaders like thin air even with their clothes on.

Naked News, we expose the world! We're on a winning streak! Todays weather: Sunny. Tonight, a full moon. It's the news Dan would Rather. The list goes on and on...

Thanks, all... Laurence: I ought to have got a "full moon" joke into there, but missed that one. Never mind.
JD - "And shook when she laughed like two bowls full of jelly" - how does one laugh like a bowl full of jelly, let alone two? ;-)

Ashkickass-- I gave him a 4 for leaving a few lines from the original intact.

I thought they were remarkably appropriate under the circumstances: "And though the news was rather sad, well I just had to laugh" fits this story as well as (or even better than) the original

Wow - I wonder if this will catch on in America. Bill O'Reilly in the buff would be frightening!
