The Lyrics

Based on a true story...
Something deep inside my shoe
gets on my nerves just like no other
something deep inside my shoe, yeah
It's making me crazy now
I just might lose it, and how

I cannot remove my shoe
'cause I am on a hiking trail
I cannot remove my shoe, no
don't want to hold up the crowd
but I just might scream out loud

I try wiggling my toes around
But it won't budge, and can't be found
I kick and jump stomp the ground
On a big rock, my head, I'll pound

Finally I yell "please stop"
And interrupt everyone's walking
I rip off my shoe and shake it
I got the little rock out
Now I will no longer pout

There is seriously NOTHING more annoying than having something in my shoe!! I HATE it!! Don't hate this parody, though...great work, Miss Kicksass...5s...

Thanks guys. Arwen - It really is the most frustrating thing in the world. And I really did have to hold up my entire group of people to shake my shoe in Yellowstone a couple of weeks ago. Johnny - I think I'll leave the pouting to fair Arwen. She's better at it anyway. And John - LOL!

Something tells me the crowd didn't mind taking a break to watch you shake your hiking bootie. ;) Great job on this, don't know how on earth I missed it, before!

I was a bit surprised it was a rock...I expected a spider or scorpion or something =)

Eeek Jeff! Had that been the case, I would have been writing the song from a mental health facility! I am ridiculously afraid of bugs! But thanks for your comment!
