Original Song Title:

"This Boy"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"That Boy"

Parody Written by:

65th Beatle

The Lyrics

That boy
Gets anxious every day
Can't seem to find a way
To keep the panic at bay

That boy
Thinks too much every night
Worries just take flight
Can't seem to get it right

Oh and that boy’s got the Generalized
Anxiety Disorder blues
Thinks he's always got bad news
Can't shake these worried views

That boy
Needs a little peace of mind
Needs to leave the fear behind
And a good night's sleep to find

That boy
That boy
That boy

First, my profound regrets that you deal with this - and every day at that. I did not find anything funny about this parody, and that is not a knock against you or your parody. Although parodies traditionally have some level of comedy in them, it should not be considered required. It is a flaw in the site rating system that "Funny" gets its own rating category. Your attempt to spell out the condition does not lend itself easily to poetic meter in any metric pattern, and it does help that you need to set aside eleven syllables to include it. You might have been better off just calling it GAC, and spelling it out as a bottom note. Thank you for your contribution.

My apologies for the typo in my reference to GAC. It should have read GAD.
