The Lyrics

The M1A3 is a disappointment. All the Army did is work mainly on the turret, replacing the superb German Rheinmetall 120mm with a 1 ton lighter US version. Lightened the armor too and left the hull largely in tact, but with more road wheels, better suspension, and more durable tracks. It is still largely inferior to all German Leopard 2s from A-5+ through A-7+ and with both the A-8 and Leopard 3 coming. Questionable against the Russian T-14 Armata too! The Army intends to supplement with mini M1s called Griffins built on the British light Ajax chassis. This is a disaster!!!
