I saw the weirdest dog at a PetSmart in my area. It drew a lot of attention. It was a tiger-striped golden retriever. Damn near thought it was a baby tiger when it came around a corner in the store! I asked myself how the heck they got that coat like that. The owner fessed up that it was fake. The dog was dyed and painted! Now THAT would make a hell of a new real breed IMO!

Years ago I saw a story on TV about a fellow who shaved his large hairy dog to resemble a lion. For a circus or movie, it might be safer than the real animal.
