This case should, and probably will be taught in every state's concealed carry class. Right or wrong is irrelevant. The race of the deceased is the issue. If Zimmerman were an off-duty police officer, he would have an automatic presumption of justification. As a peasant, his expensive piece of paper was just a trap to get him into deep Schumer.

Patrick, I agree 100%. If GZ had just followed the 911 operator's instructions not to pursue and actual law enforcement investigated a "suspicious person" that night, no murder and no gun controversy at all...
