The Lyrics

I hope JAB likes my version ;-)
Convention’s got cosplay
So bring your costume, yeah
Convention’s got cosplay
Comic, Gaming, Sci-Fi too
Don’t care what others say
Get on your cosplay costume

Awe…
Awe…
Awe…
Dress-up
Prop-up

Yes, might get kinda nerdy, nerdy
Yes, might get kinda sexy-flirty
Yes, might get kinda downright dirty

You want to show-off and prance? (Cosplay)
Want to be a princess? (Cosplay)
Wield a mace or a lance? (Cosplay)
Now’s your chance- yeah

Oh
Dress-up

Imperial advance? (Cosplay)
Trekker phaser pose stance? (Cosplay)
Irisa? “Defiance?” (Cosplay)
Take a chance! Chance!

Convention’s got cosplay
So bring your costume, yeah
Convention’s got cosplay
Comic, Gaming, Sci-Fi too
Don’t care what others say
Get on your cosplay costume

[Extended]

Amazon in hot pants? (Cosplay)
Nippy robot concepts? (Cosplay)
Vader taking DEEP breaths? (Cosplay)
Make an entrance! Entrance!

Convention’s got cosplay
So bring your costume, yeah
Convention’s got cosplay
Comic, Gaming, Sci-Fi too
Don’t care what others say
Get on your cosplay costume
Nippy refers to Nippon (aka Japan/Japanese)

Being a nerd I have to say I loved this one. One of my favorites from your huge collection.

TY Matthias. It seems that JAB, me, and other Vets are being targeted by the 1-bombers. If anything, THAT is ruining this site. But JAB and I triumph today due to both of us being production machines!!! "Quantity is a quality all its own"- won WW2. I see what JAB is doing and applaud him for his tactics :)

Rob, I love your work, love your 'tude. Glad to see you're getting some love. Seems I just can't win. Hold on! Do I sense a parody of J. Giels' "Just Can't Wait"? Seriously, thanks for your support--back at ya!

NP JAB. You are still the MASTER here on AiR and an inspiration to a lot of people! Sorry that I haven't been commenting nor voting on a lot of Vet parodies for months. Been disabled badly, going through physical therapy, lost a pet, and have family/financial problems. I DO work hard on my parodies just trying to round up many serial blocks of songs and trying to figure out what topic to use. YES, I can write parodies very fast off the top of my head but usually am drugged and use O2. Have Ulnar Neuropathy in right hand/arm though so it can be painful. I just try to keep moving forward and some people don't like it. Oh well... I'm just glad that some people do like what I write :)

"Quantity is a quality all its own," Herr Arndt? Not when it comes to writing, whether it's in the form of parodies or novels. Harper Lee and Margaret Mitchell each wrote one (1) novel, and you know what they are. Louis L'Amour wrote 89 novels, all without any special literary distinction. Your quote may be somewhat true in wartime, as regards your special interest -- electromechanical systems which inflict death and destruction. Stick to what you know, you inspiration you.
