Quilted Northern toilet paper arrived in the 1920s and then introduced the first sterilized toilet paper in the 1930s. By the 1960s QN introduced 2-ply toilet paper as standard. In modern times QN has introduced 3-ply toilet paper (Ultra Plush) with an "Innerlux" layer for added absorbency but still had consumers requesting a stronger toilet paper to counter the "runs." QN has responded with the first consumer ADTP (Anti-Diarrhea Toilet Paper)- a 4-layer mega-absorbency type guaranteed to clean up the worst messes! No word on what the 4th layer is made of, only that it is a reinforcement of the other 3 layers! The product will be on the market soon.

Note: the company is also looking into "after-wipe" moisturizing and cleansing disposable pads as part of the anti-diarrhea campaign
