As a Niner myself, I maintained calm through the First Half believing like so many other fans that a 22 pt deficit meant nothing as adversity would certainly bring the team back in the Second Half. Beyonce/Destiny's Child sang and then the lights were out for 35 minutes- a break so desperately needed by the Niners. The Niners came back with a vengeance, Kaepernick's strong arm and rushing leading the team back from the depths of despair of Akers' 2 FGs on the board (ironically, Pre-game Akers was the liability but in the First Half was the Niners only strength). Kaepernick threw 302 yds, rushed for 62. Gore ran 110 yds. Crabtree, Moss, Davis all stepped up. But a wasted TO in the 3rd and not paying attention to the clock set up a late "must win" pressure scenario with down to the wire play. The Niners failed to score and so return home empty. Close is good, but not good enough :(
