Yeah, good old Borgie...he was scary as hell in, "From Here To Eternity"

Yeah, I have "Marty" which is kinda gloomy but an excellent performance by Borgnine. IIRC, he is the voice of Mermaid Man on "SpongeBob Squarepants"!!! He did everything in TV and movies and was a great guy too!

Besides "McHale", I remember him best for movies like THE WILD BUNCH, FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, WILLARD, and THE DIRTY DOZEN.

Quite correct Porfle... but you left out the whining cop with the hot former prostitute wife in POSEIDON ADVENTURE!!! "My Linda, My Linda!"

And Leslie Nielsen as the captain! How could I forget that? I saw it at the theater when it first came out.

I believe he was also in JESUS OF NAZARETH as a Roman Centurion. His line at the cross was, "She IS his mother!" (referring to Mary).

I'll always remember him in the original Poseidon Adventure and SpongeBob Squarepants. EVIL! (Funny how he was in Travolta's first movie as the main villain).
