The Lyrics

Another one for the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Beatles collection that 2nz started with his White Album parody. This is the part of the first Hitchhiker's Guide where Arthur Dent is strapped up to the saws and the mice are about to take his brain in search of the ultimate question... Enjoy!
(Mice!) Look cute and cuddly
(Mice!) But they act so smugly
(Mice!) They’re twisted, evil punks
Mice!!!!!!

(I’m)
Was once a human
(A human being)
Just an Earthman stuck on Earth
(I always thought)
I always thought we had the brains with the biggest girth

(Now)
Now thanks to damn Vogons
(Those damn Vogons)
I’m hitchhiking through space
(Now I find)
Pesky mice are not too nice
Want what’s behind my face

Mice, Look innocent fuzzy and brown
But now my mind has changed I am freaked out
They want to take my brain, That’s not allowed
Want some cheese, cheese? Mice, Please!!!!

(Now)
These critters are deranged
(They’re so deranged)
They’ll use saws but not X-Rays
(They want the quest-)
They want the question that will answer everything

(But)
But I try to counter with
(Counter with)
A question that’s in store
(How many roads)
How many roads must a man walk?
What’s thirty eight plus four?

Mice have got me strapped to this blade crown
All these darn spacemen act like I’m a clown
I’d like to keep my brain where it was found
Won’t you release these chains?

Back on my planet
Now a hyper express way
I never thought these rats would try to drill inside my brain

(Here)
Here on Magrathea
(Magrathea)
My mind will be explored
(Stupid mice)
Stupid mice want my head sliced
I don’t like blood and gore

A cybernetic brain they can swap out
I can still say “What?” and scream and shout
That’s not a good replacement that they tout
Here’s some cheese, cheese… Mice leave!

Mice leave! Mice leave! Oooooohhhh!!!

In the first parentheses before the first stanza it should have been "I" not "I'm"... I changed the following line around but forgot to fix that.

Good parody all the way, but "what’s thirty eight plus four" was an especially clever way to fix a filler line... ;-)

YEAH MATTY! I enjoyed the whole thing, but '38+4' and the whole 'crown/clown/found' stanza were my favorites. You da man.
