The Lyrics

Now that US Army Staff Sgt Bales is in Leavenworth Prison awaiting trial, his lawyer is going with a Diminished Capacity strategy to prevent Bales from being convicted of cold, premeditated murder of 16 Afghan civilians which would get him the death penalty for war crimes. Bales claims that he remembers _some_ of the beginning and end of the activities, but nothing of the actual murders! So, he admits leaving the base unauthorized and coming back and turning himself in... but nothing in-between! How convenient! I have no sympathy for this man and his claim of a head injury either. He has a prior civilian record of DUI, assault, financial fraud, etc... And IF he had any injury and was unfit to serve, he would have been removed. But his record is very good. So either he flipped out and went insane or he planned to strike out and commit murder. I believe the latter as he will not go with any insanity plea. He was going to lose his house and the financial pressures were building. He went to blow off steam, but instead blew-away, stabbed, and set fire to 16 Afghans, 13 of which were women and children- a massacre. He deserves to be prosecuted and then put to death.
Lawyer lies
Lawyer lies

Soldier cries
Soldier cries

Bales denies
Taking lives
"Blackout" lies
Defense tries

... for DC charge they strive!

["Get Out!" the Afghans cry]
