Parody Song Title:

"Paterno Died"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

Now that Joe Paterno, Penn State former football icon, has died, it raises the question of his legacy. No matter what he did in the past to the glory of Penn State, the Sandusky scandal he was linked to will never be forgotten. Sadly, but perhaps for the best, better that he has passed away _now_ before more revelations come out in the media. I think he was mortally wounded by his downfall...
JoePa died
JoePa died

Was 85
Was 85

Scandal cry
Ugly side
Ruined lives
Stole his pride

Maybe it took his life???

[Icon tarnished overnight]

5's. His family is in my thoughts and prayers because death of a family member is a difficult thing to endure. Sure, Paterno did make a name for himself in sports, but the Sandusky scandal has really tarnished it, so I wasn't sure how to take the news.
