One of the great untold stories of WW2 is about Tommy Sneum who fought back in occupied Denmark by smuggling out photos of the German Freya radar installation. To do this he had to escape in a beaten-up de Havilland Hornet Moth biplane and even had to climb out on the wing to refuel it mid-air on the trip to Britain! He also had an opportunity to kill Himmler with a bow, but missed the chance! He performed spying through deception, seduction of mother and daughter, and other skills. He provided invaluable reports and photos of German radar and the German atomic bomb research. On his second escape he crossed a frozen lake, but the two with him died. He was falsely accused of being a double-agent, but escaped the hangman too. A remarkable life, his story is told in the book, "The Hornet's Sting" by Mark Ryan.
