The Lyrics

The low-carb diet is an efficient way to get off some surplus kilos, but unfortunately many people do not understand it and why the carbohydrates are to be avoided. It can be frustrating sometimes.
I made a visit to my parents' home
My momma said "My girl, your weight has grown"
I said her "Yes, I know, I'm on Atkins now"
She didn't listen - served me pasta 'n sauce -

Mama, don't you feed me carbs
You know that stuff will add up lard
Mama, don't you feed me carbs
But gimme some cheese, please!

I told my mom that bread and rice are no good
she didn't seem it all was understood
Serving me potatoes would not be very fine
And I won't eat sweets at any time

Mama, don't you feed me carbs
You know that stuff will add up lard
Mama, don't you feed me carbs
But gimme some cheese, please!
Cheese, cheese, cheese'm cheese cheese - yeah

Mama, don't you feed me carbs
You know that stuff will add up lard
Mama, don't you feed me carbs
But gimme some cheese, please!

I told my mom to put the dumplings away
Then she protested "I got something to say -
I got no other stuff but veggies and greens" -
And I said "That's just all right for me!"

Mama, don't you feed me carbs
You know that stuff will add up lard
Mama, don't you feed me carbs
But gimme some cheese, please!
Cheese chees'm cheese cheese yeah
Cheese chees'm cheese cheese yeah
Cheese chees'm cheese cheese yeah
Cheese chees'm cheese cheese yeah
Cheese chees'm cheese cheese yeah

Susanna - Nicely done once again, and close to home for me. My wife, a severe diabetic, has had better results when she stopped counting sugars and calories and started counting her carbs. ;D

It's all about balance, isn't it? And this is nicely balanced.

I'm on that diet too, kinda, because I combine it with the Blood Group Diet, methinks that one's even more important/right on target: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_type_diet
