"Pigeon (Revised)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Pigeons, the rats with wings.
Pigeon cooing in the light of day
Dodge those dropping mess and run away
Be careful
It is only waiting for your moment to arrive

Pigeon cooing in the light of day
Spot those orange eyes and run away
Be careful
It is waiting for your moment to stop and think

Pigeon coos, pigeon coos
While perching on the building's ledge

Pigeon coos, pigeon coos
While perching on the building's ledge

Pigeon cooing in the light of day
Dodge those dropping mess and run away
Be careful
It is only waiting for your moment to arrive
It is only waiting for your moment to arrive
It is only waiting for your moment to arrive
Who brought them here?

In 1914 the last Passenger Pigeon (a more graceful looking bird than today's roof rats) passed into history at the Cincinnati Zoo. In its heyday, it was said that flocks of passenger pigeons would take hours to pass and were so dense they blotted out the sun. Would that be a sight to see, flying past a couple million buffalo? Then again, imagine the hazards to navigation.

How about one on squirrels, rats with fluffy tails.
Max Power to Patrick - November 16, 2010 - Report this comment
It's a shame that the passenger pigeons are long gone. There are some people who wished the same thing would happen to the "rock dove" aka "rats with wings" aka "gutter birds" among other things.
