Parody Song Title:

"DDR Machine"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Yes, my first ever parody was about DDR, and so is this one. For those who still don't know, DDR is an arcade game that has you stepping arrows on a metal dance pad to techno-rave songs. My hiatus is over. Prepare to be blazed!
At arcades, there's guys galore
Stepping mad and sweating mean
Music's bold, the crowds went wild
For the DDR machine

Yes, this game's a lot of fun
It will eat a lot of green
And we're beat on every play
At the arcade dance machine

We can't win at the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine
We all lose at the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine

Though we're drained and scoring poor
We will always step hundreds more
Taka-man begins to play

(The song "V" from DDR Extreme plays, overlapping Yellow Submarine)

We're all slaves to the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine
Won't stop playing the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine

(Spoken)
Hard steps ahead, Mr. DJ, hard steps ahead!
10-footers are tough, man!
Spin 360! Spin 360!
Fast part, nail fast part!
Nailed it! NAILED IT!

As we fail and score some E's
Every song we tried (every song we tried)
Was fast to me! (was fast to me!)
From MAX2 (from MAX2)
To tough EXTREME (to tough EXTREME)
Hooked on arcade (hooked on arcade)
Dance machine (dance machine! WAHA!!)

Cannot give up the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine
Always hooked on the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine

Sweating hard from the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine
Never ending, the DDR machine
DDR machine, DDR machine

Nice job putting the DDR into the Beatles, Caleb! Really worked well with the OS! Can't get enough of DDR myself. When I go to AMC theatres from where I live, usually after watching a movie, I would try my hand at DDR and play songs from B4U, Naoki, etc. My fave DDR songs are The Cube, Silent Hill, Dub-I-Dub, Brilliant 2U, Butterfly, Stomp To My Beat, etc. Last night, I saw "Malcolm In The Middle" where Hal and Craig was playing a DDR type of game and enrolled in a tournament for that. Blazing and amazing with your satires! You scored 555 AAA's along with Perfects!

Tried that once an failed miserably with two left feet. The parody is well written and goes well with the OS, especially the spoken part - Don't know what score you got on the DDR but you 555 here.

Thanks to Christie and Timmy! And Christie, sounds like you're into old-school DDR. Me too!

Haha! Got hooked and rooked many times as a kid. I stay away from all such hypnotic machines now. Very good job and nice use of a "Ringo" song which was a perfect fit! :-)
