"Dang, Dang...bad 'un 'wolfed' down grandma!" Little Red Riding Hood...another one of my fave tales! As for that wolf, his days of chasing down innocent little girls are over as Little Hood safely escapes from his clutches. Lucky he didn't 'wolf' her down! Anyways, well done on a great parody! It's all good! 555.

Don't need to axe how howlingly funny this one is. I love how you do the fractured fairy tales - speaking of which I'm sure that old wolf was totally fractured once that axe man got done doing the Paul Bunyan routine on him. Well done Alvin.

What I loved most about the original was Dr. Eric Berne's analysis, that the "wolf" was really her grandfather, that the subliminal topic was incestuous molestation, and besides, what kind of mother sends a little girl through a forest known to be teeming with wolves? Too bad he's no longer with us to enjoy this skewering. If you've read this far, you *really* deserve these Fives :-)

I think it was part of the disguise to lure her in... and yep, you nailed it on the big ^ ... :)

since you're a fan of fairy tales, you might truly enjoy the book, "What Do You Say After You Say Hello", c 1972 by psychiatrist Dr. Eric Berne. He psychoanalyzes a lot of fairy tales, including "Little Miss Muffet", and devotes an entire chapter to "Cinderella" (IMHO, one of the most evil tales ever written). The library should have a copy. hope ya find it interesting and more fuel for your fairy-pairy-odying. :-)

Hey, what about me? At the age of 15, I get "pricked" (with a spindle, yeah, right) and start to bleed (about when girls used to start to bleed, 100 yrs ago before the food was loaded with hormones). A bunch of thorns surround me (chastity belt) and I go into a coma (become frigid, no feelings or physical urges) until a Prince comes along. Talk about suppressing your kids' natural urges -- and as for this Prince, you think Cinderella gave girls unrealistic expectations of love and marriage? Ha! I've screwed up more girls' expectations and love lives than Hugh Hefner ever did for guys!
