The Lyrics

...another psycho parody...
i read the news today...oh boy
about a yucky man who'd slain a dame
and though the news was rather sad
well, i just had to laugh
i saw the photograph
it blew my mind, twas so bizarre
not hard to notice that his garb he'd changed
a lout so creepy they had snared
although in female form
everyone was really sure
that he was motel keeper norm

i saw the film today..oh boy
with tony perkins as the anguished boy
when janet leigh was put away
well, i just had to look
though it left me shook

the shower's turning on

dressed up...in mama's threads
stabbed the girl till she was dead
dragged her by the hair...and wrapped her up
twas so abrupt...ironic twist of fate
(what? what? what ?)
found her coat and found her hat
dumped 'em all in seconds flat
snooper went upstairs..then he was smoked
yeah, arbogast was croaked
as the shrieking violins screamed

(wah...wah wah wah....wah wah wah...wah wah wah)

i read the news today...oh boy
it seems the boy is now his mommy dear
into his psyche she did crawl
her will is now installed
now they know she's in control
no fakin'...there's no norm at all

the lad has turned and gone

The movie was nausiating, but I like your parody. I prefer the scene in High Anxiety where Mel Brooks kept nagging the bellboy to bring his newspaper. He was in the shower when the bellboy brought the paper and whacked him over the head. Mel Brooks lay in the tub with the ink going down the drain and said, "He isn't getting a tip.".

I found your Beatles/Psycho parodies very entertaining! Yep, that is so Norman Bates. I used to watch Psycho a long time ago on AMC with my mom. Bates is so scary. But I still like the movie. You really took a stab at writing this song! 555.
