Original Song Title:

"Why Don't We Do It In The Road"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Why Don't We Do In Alvin Rhodes"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?
i'm tired of his outdated modes
its clear he has no moral codes
that's why i hate this fellow loads
no more he'll be haunting us
why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?

why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?
his work just makes my head explode
he has a style that's sure to goad
let's kill that shaggy headed toad
no more he'll be haunting us
why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?

why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?
i rue the day when in, he strode
he takes a song that smoothly flowed
and dumps it straight in the commode
no more he'll be haunting us
why don't we do in alvin rhodes ?

So attack parodies are allowed, so long as you're attacking yourself? :-)
alvin - December 31, 2008 - Report this comment

OMG. Nothing like a little self-effacing humor to end the year, eh, Alvin? Please don't do yourself in--or let anyone else have the honor. I enjoy your parodies too much! 555!

And there is me thinking that TSB wrote this under Alvin's name, lol.
Andria - December 31, 2008 - Report this comment
Alvin, I'm absolutely sure that TSB didn't write this, because I don't see any capitol letters, and since attack parodies about oneself are allowed, I might write one about myself. 5s.

thanks mason....nope, can't get rid of me THAT easy...lol....thanks jason....nope, not TSB...although you could go to whatfreaks.com and check out what is under the george strait / alan jackson parodies if you're interested in a terribly written parody on this same subject...thanks andria....nope the small letters are a dead (pardon the pun) giveaway...i'd love to see your personal attack parody

This is odd, I never saw anyone write a parody attacking themselves. 555 for the fresh new idea. By the way, I also wrote a Beatles parody, you guys should check it out.

I echo Mason's comment. Always enjoyed your Beatles parodies! I agree with the line "he takes a song that smoothly flowed", which you do. Heck, I would also think of writing a self-attacking parody someday. 5s.

Since you are a Beatles fan, there's this website to check out. It's on http://www.nutsie.com/music/The%20Beatles. They play random tracks from The Beatles, which makes it more fun. (Knowing you, you probably listen to every Beatles songs). It's like they have their own radio station.

Now, if you'd have dropped the "In" in the title and directed it just to the female specie..it would have a whole new meaning....good write..
alvin - January 01, 2009 - Report this comment
