Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

i listen for their footsteps
don't think i'll survive
there's the soldiers' footsteps
soon they will arrive
waitin' for the cross here
shaken to the core
i sure fear it
does it mean...dad don't love me any more ?

i feel the thorn's a-prickin'
gone's my mental health
up the hill, i'm movin'
cross, drug by myself
i wonder where's the gang tonight ?
i sure could use their help
i don't see 'em
does it mean...they don't love me any more ?

don't crucify
don't let me die
don't make me blue
its so alarmin'...no love from my crew
you surely know...it hurts me so
the worst part's still to go
don't crucify
don't let me die

i've always had a doubt or two
dad's plan was unfair
had ourselves a last bash
then accosted there
judas kiss revealed my fate
i gave a glower or two
this is my last night...slayin's near
this slayin' is near...its true

don't crucify
don't let me die
don't make me blue
its so alarmin'...no love from my crew
you surely know...it hurts me so
the worst part's still to go
don't crucify
don't let me die
don't make me blue

Just observing the Holy Week. Great parody you wrote. Just seeing "The Passion of the Christ" is enough to make me blue. I actually cried over that movie. I echo all comments above.
