The Lyrics

for Idol OS
I saw this real cute girl
Yes yes I saw this real cute girl
I saw this real cute girl
Saw this real cute girl

I'd like to take you out tonight got somewhere on your mind?
Got somewhere on your mind?
The carnival is here tonight and that's what’s on my mind
That's somewhere I don’t mind

Won prizes for that girl
Yes yes won prizes for that girl
Won prizes for that girl
Prizes for that girl

Let's ride some rides tonight The Ferris Wheel is lit up bright
Ferris Wheel is lit up bright
You want left seat or right? I'll go with you on this one.
With you on this one

Rode on rides with that girl
Yes yes rode on rides with that girl
Rode on rides with that girl
On rides with that girl

I saw her point I want to ride this ride with you you ride it too
I had to warn her what that ride would do

No! not the Tilt- A- Whirl
No! not the Tilt- A- Whirl

I'm gonna loose it girl
Yes yes I'm gonna loose it girl
I'm gonna loose it girl
Gonna loose it girl.

She says If I don't ride it I'll be through with you then I'll be blue
I cross my fingers what else can I do?

And so we got on it that night she's got thrill on her mind
She's got thrill on her mind
And when we got on it that night I tried to ease my mind
I tried to ease my mind

Think I still lost that girl
Guess guess think I still lost that girl
Think I still lost that girl
I still lost that girl

Mess mess opps! she's wearin my hurl

Heh heh! Nice synopsis of a messy relationship!

That's the way it ends up. Once there was a commercial for Magic Mountain showing a handsome blond athlete running to the tune of Chariots of Fire. Suddenly he stops and barfs. The voice over says, "Another satisfied customer." .

(Amiright Idol) Hey, you broke out of the surreal mode and told a good story with a punchline! Way to go!

(AmIright Idol) The ending was . . .unexpected:) This is a step up from the last round, but the pacing took a bit of a hit in my opinion here. Also, not that this will factor in my voting, but you may want to consider making the backing vocals more obvious, I got lost a few times because of that. . .perhaps like this
I saw this real cute girl
(Yes yes I saw this real cute girl)
I saw this real cute girl
(Saw this real cute girl)

Or something along those lines. Overall good, but still not the masterful Ann Hammond I know and love.

Like Dave wrote, I'd break up the backing lyrics with some sort of brackets or parentheses. I really enjoyed this one, Ann: you got a good storyline in this song, and the humor is there. 555

Thanks idle judges Dave- I think masterful Ann is going to be on vacation for a Month or two. You'll have to settle for just Ann right now.
