That is a fantastic baseball parody. Fits the melancholy mood of an 0 for 15 slump. And yes, I'm a huge baseball fan, too. DirecTVs Extra Innings package was the best $150 I ever spent.

Great imagery all the way through alvin, I really enjoyed :) McKludge, count your blessings, I too, am a baseball fan, however, living where I do makes viewing kinda tough! :) I also nominally follow the Dodgers, and I gather from some of the comments I have seen on this site over the years, that would a cause of some mirth!

Alvin - Very good mental imagry in this presentation of what has been called "America's passtime" - but in reality should actually have been called "orginized loitering". If this were an actual game the pitcher would get an ERA of 555. Bad era for a pitcher but not for a parody. Nice job Alvin.
