The Lyrics

William was de President of USA

So she says she shot at in de Saraje-
Vo... but too bad for her that's not exactly true

She mis-speak, she mis-spoke, she de li-ar
La la how de wife goes on
She mis-speak, she mis-spoke, she de li-ar
La la how de wife goes on

William had a lusty little intern miss
Hard to t'ink but back then she was hot (What?)
Though he working hard at Oval O(ri)fice
Asked if he give it to her, he say he did not

He mis-speak, he miss-poke, he de li-ar
La la not de wife go down
He mis-speak, he miss-poke, he de li-ar
La la not de wife go down

For a couple of terms they had Washington DC
Want a couple more turns running half de world, do Will-yum and Hill-ree C

Hey, hey
Now there is elections in the USA
Hill-ree running, Will-yum lend a hand
Not 'nuff being governor of New York State
So in November she want to have de whole land

She mis-speak, he miss-poke, they de li-ars
La la how de wife goes on
She mis-speak, he miss-poke, they de li-ars
La la not de wife go down

In a couple of months then de country fin'lly see
Which candidate running 'gainst McCain: Obama or Hill-ree C

Hey, hey
Nomination not go well for Hillary
Even though de William lend a hand
Reckon that she's gonna be Barack's VP
When he's assassinated she will rule de land

She mis-speak, he miss-poke, they de li-ars
La la how de wife goes on
She mis-speak, he miss-poke, they de li-ars
La la not de wife go down

Well if you want to win
Then don't mis-speak/miss-poke

i was gonna take you advice about using She Said She Said as companions to my Obama Said and Jane Says parodies, but what's the point now. It wouldn't be nearly as good as this. "La la how de wife goes on" I can actually picture ol' Bill sitting around drinking with some friends and making that very comment.

Looks like she did mispeak, and we know that Bill mispoke. I did learn to appreciate the fact while I was gone, that some authors can take a simple song and make it a little more complicated to have something worth reading for the people here. I thoroughly enjoyed it! 5's : D

I had a good laugh, specially with the reggae feel. Some great lines within.

:-) Thanks,all.
McKludge - I didn't take you for quitter... I'm sure you can do something every bit as good. Another idea for a "Hillary says" parody might be "They're Changing Guards at Buckingham Palace" (you can google it.. the one downside is to get it to work, you'd need quite a few 2-syllable rhymes for Hill-ree)
alvin - hard to believe that one hasn't been used before, but google confirms that's the case.
adagio - thank you: I like to try and get a little subtlety in, where possible. I must own up that the Bill "mis-poking" joke came from the current Private Eye "Clintstones" cartoon strip.
