| Parody Song Title: | "Vegetarian Party" |
| Parody Written by: | Ethan Mawyer |
This is for a contest. The vegetarian party platform was one of the stranger sets of political ideals in American history, but the rules of the contest said I had to be positive so I tried to sing praises of this strange group of individuals.
Plates were brown, and full of pork
Which is rather unhealthy
So a group was organized
With a plan of much more peas
Sure they failed to get much done
But they fought valiantly
And they picked some candidates
Great political party
Chorus:
We love the vegetarian party
Very grand party, berry fan party
We love the vegetarian party
Very grand party, berry fan party
First election they got four
Votes they would've had millions more
With an internet campaign
(Repeat Chorus)
Jolly good try, Dr. Maxwell
Jolly good try
System's rigged against the British
Harry Truman, Schmarry Truman
I know that you should have won
No more pigs in our bellies
Or all other meats; ban liquor please
Support war, to keep the peace
And all medicine must cease
(Repeat Chorus)

I get it. All you are saying is "Give peas a chance."
