The Lyrics

Well, if there's a bandwagon to jump on... to anyone who hasn't read the news story (and gives a proverbial pile of excreta), you can read it here (and many other places).
Larry Craig he was a homophobic senator
But in the washroom his behaviour was obscene
And now we all know where he's been
Because he's been seen

In the men's room is a p'liceman in his cubicle
Undercover, he is waiting for a move
Of which society will disapprove
Copping any "thing"... what a sting

Larry Craig is straight, not gay (unless he lied)
When he has a slash his stance is wide
No shit... and meanwhile back

That Larry Craig he represents the Boise from Idaho
Yet he is doing things that ought to be eschewed
But now he's in the dock for being lewd
He's a lewd, rude dude

Larry Craig is straight, not gay, he will confide
Must have been a real knock to his pride
A hit, will he bounce back?

Inside a washroom the policeman cops a senator
And now the story's out for everyone to see
As the probing goes mercilessly
There's a guilty plea

As Larry Craig who put the "public" in "Republican"
The Gay Old Party man will now not party on
Because pretty soon he will be gone
From the public eye.. Laugh? Not I..

Larry Craig is straight, not gay - can't be denied
Now his sorry story's spread worldwide
Across the internet
Larry Craig is straight, not gay.. well, that's his side
Man, hypocrisy I can't abide...
Larry Craig.

Fabulous, sweetheart! By the way, this is Beatles parody Number 1964! (Well, their 1,964th from the Sixties. The total doesn't count their 1970 hits and any under "Miscellaneous.")

Actually, this would be the 1,965th Beatles parody labeled as sixties. (The first one ends with "0", not "1". Therefore, the parody with "n" in its URL is the "n+1"th parody.) DYHIW that off-by-one error kicks in?

Read the start of it in a thread - read it all here! Fantastic job Phil! 5's all the way!

Far be it from me to be excessively pedantic, but searching for "Beatles" (without the "The") returns 2500 parodies exactly... so this may be the 2500th which so nearly matches the year of the OS in its URL.
A Person - who says it's an error? Just a simple naming convention that starts at zero rather than one.
Thanks, Tam

Yes, there may be 2500 parodies, but this was the 1,965th one labeled as "The Beatles", as opposed to plain old "Beatles". And I didn't say anything about an error; I was just splaining to Mike that he was...oh that's right. I guess I did say something about an error. Still, I was just explaining somethin.

Anyhoo, I think this is a cool parody. 5 5 5's for you.
