[harmonica intro]

Ugly and rude
with bad attitude
always in bad mood
In brie-ie-ie-ief
Won't you move?
Why won-on't
you just "shoo"?

Dude, what's with you?
Why are you so screwed?
Won't you take a clue?
Your lea-ea-ea-eave is
overdue
You know
that it's true

We've had enough
of your sh*t, dude
Get off your duff
Exit our view

Trouble with you
you're childish and crude
Your vileness exudes
You cree-ee-ee-ee-eep
Go get screwed
Get lost, P.U.

[harmonica break]

So to review
you're ugly and rude
got bad attitude
Relie-ee-ee-ee-eeve
us and move
Yo, get lost, dude

Youstink, P.U.
Soget lost, dude
Yeahgo get screwed

Nice easy flowing parody and we've all met those kinds of waiters before. You know how to handle it; just write a parody about it. : ) 5's

Gee, Pat - I wasn't even thinking about waiters when I wrote this...probably because most of my "dining out" experiences of late have been the type where someone asks me "d'ya want fries with that?"...but I'm sure it fits some...now all you parody-reading waiters out there, I swear I'm not talking about you....necessarily...there - how's that for talking out of both sides of my mouth? ~ ~ ~

Great work love the OS and this song is right up there but I don't think Paul MCcartny will sing it any time soon!
Phil Alexander - December 05, 2006 - Report this comment
Brilliant, Paul - very well-worked with such a small amount of material to work with

Paul this was great. May I copy and save this to give to my SO who is about to become my EX-SO? 5's

Spoof-Man - Thanks...McCartney might not sing it, but I already have. Phil, Thanks - I enjoy being able to put together something out of almost nothing. alvin & Ann, Thanks! carol - Of course, by all means. Say, will that make your soon to be "EX-SO" an "SOB"? Got more Beatles parodies coming up tomorrow, too!

"Exudes," one of my favorite words. Nice job, Paul.

Well, I knew it had to be, JB...in fact, I DID think of you when I was writing that part...uh...just about using the word "exudes"...not the characterization...lol...Yeah, "exudes"...also a personal favorite of mine...it's tied with "Extrude" on my list...lol...

Thanks, Fitu. I'm glad it wasn't you on the other piece...your comment appeared at about the same time so I figured I would just ask you about it. Some troll apparently did it for whatever reason...anyway...

Your format here is great, Paul; it looks strangely familiar! I must have missed for whom this parody was written (seems like an anonymouse commentor fits best), but a bit of teeth every now and then in a work is a good thing. 5s
Paul Robinson - December 06, 2006 - Report this comment
Red, it's the format I use on a lot of pieces now. It makes it easier to follow the phrasing when reading, I think. It's not like we have a limit on how long the piece can go vertically, ya know? But I did look at yours a few days ago...That's where I picked up the "only 18 original words in the OS" item...I knew there weren't many, but I hadn't bothered to count. I think I have around 55 in this one, but I was counting in my head and at about 35 or so I stopped trying to be exact. But I had already written this - last week around Thursday or Friday. I don't generally post anything anymore until I do an overlay recording to check the pacing and emphasis, which I did on this over the weekend. OH...I didn't write it for anyone in particular...haven't we all been acquainted with someone like this at some time or another? Thanks!

Well, it looks like "Sug gested" got over to vote on this one, too...why am I not surprised...and maybe on some others, it looks like. Big deal, dude...note - last guy that did that I think got banned when he went overboard...keep it in mind, dude, 'cuz we'd all sure miss ya...
