Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Well, we're going to go a little political here again since Mr. Bush can't seem to get a real clue of what's happening on the ground in Iraq and prefers to live in his little fairy-tale bubble...while our soldiers risk life and limb. Eventually Mr. Decider is going to dump this on his successor and it's likely things will be as messed up as they are now...or even worse...it's just not right. He's playing ego games here...he doesn't have the balls to accept that he made a massive commitment based mostly on ignorant hunches and miserable advice. That's not "Presidential"...It's sick - and it's lame. It's bullsh*t...and you can dress it up any way you choose, but when you walk it out in public it still stinks...now ask me how I really feel - better yet, read (or sing) the parody along with the OS music. Thanks.
[brief instrumental intro]

George Bush had no plan
he really is a moron
Had no plan, still he attacked
Now the public moans
our soldiers far from home, now
Stuck in that hell now; a fact

Attacked
Iraq
Bush did not think we'd be there long
He lacked
the facts
He would not listen; that was wrong

No facts, you moron

[instrumental break]

We moan

A hack
He's whacked
George Bush is such a dumb ding-dong
He yaks
Then acts
He tries to project that he's strong

Uh, George Bushno

[instrumental break]

When dissent was startin'
did not tell the truth then
Put us in a f*cking jam
The whole world around said
"Who you think you're foolin'?
Thank you, but we think we'll pass"

Dumb ass
They passed
You did not fool the world for long
Die cast, sir
a disaster
Did not believe you; stayed at home

Stayed back; seems they were smart then

[instrumental break]

We groan

It's whacked
Iraq
We're stuck there; soldier's far from home
We're off
the track
Whole War's so f*cked; it really shows

Scr-rooooood

No plan still, yet, man

Our Army; wasted for now
There because you're a fool
And your tactless methods
Voter's know now, regret it

[instrumentals out to end fade]

Been had
They're mad
Wish that you could be sacked; sent home
Been hi-jacked
With false facts
Been had
They're mad
Go home, man

Thanks, Ravyn - yeah, I think it makes it a whole lot more interesting and fun (in a venting sort of way) to sing.

it sang itself,...great job on matching the OS

We demand a full and immediate apology for your comparison of our fine product, Ding Dongs, to George W. Bush.

You went a little wayward on the rhyming front on a few occasions, Paul...but that's just nit-picking, as the good stuff outweighed the not-so-good by a country mile. 555

alvin, Kristof, MP, JB & carol...Thanks! Mr. Dong - You would have a point, except that I believe the term "ding-dong" has passed into common usage, thus limiting your proprietary claim. While I do regret any discomfort the reference may have caused you, I must point out that if you re-read my piece that my comparison was to a "dumb ding-dong". The prefaced term "dumb" indicates a state of sentience , albeit a low one, on the part of the ding-dong. I do not believe your product exists in a sentient state so there really isn't any direct linkage here.

Right on, and now I hear they're going to be sending more troops over there...
Paul Robinson - December 01, 2006 - Report this comment
AFW - Yeah, it seems so...and if they're talking about "20,000", it won't be enough to make a difference...just more targets for those would do them harm....and if they're talking about a LOT more troops, well...we don't happen to have a lot of spare troops ready for combat at the moment...nor the equipment to support them. And how many more combat tours are we going to subject the current active Armed Forces to? And what about the National Guard, who never belonged over there in the first place? Gonna wear them out too? It's very dispiriting...until that feeling gives way to just flat out rage. All I can do is tell it as I see it...which is what I have done from the start of this ill-conceived, fraudelently promoted fiasco. Thanks for stopping in.

All I can say is, I hope they hand George Bush from the Christmas Tree. 555!

Thanks, Yoidy...not to put words (or 'letters', anyway) in your mouth, but did you mean "hand" or "hang"? lol
