The Lyrics

i am me...and george is he...and ringo's three
and paul makes four together
that's how its done...but stories been run
they say paul died...they're lyin'

silly thing's a big fake...made up like the man was done
diggin' up some false dirt...stupid bloody hearsay
man, this is a livin' boy...its all gone on too long
he ain't no late man...please get it straight, man
what's all this paul fuss ?...pooh pooh the news

miss his ditties ?...he ain't quittin'
pretty little ballads still will roll
see how they lied...guess loosely how he died
they think its fun...they're lyin'...they're....lyin'
they're lyin'...they're...lyin'

let the matter calm down...better let this dead dog lie
crap and load of buttwipe...photographic witness ?
boy, its such a nutty world...with rumors flyin' 'round
he ain't no late man...please get it straight, man
what's all this paul fuss ?...pooh pooh the news

DAEDSEHKNIHTUOYFISTOIDIFOHCNUBAERUOYKOOL

started with the english papers...startlin' everyone
everyone was stunned to think the man
was smashed up and in coffin, lain
this ain't no late man...please get it straight, man
what's all this paul fuss ?...pooh pooh the news

experts schmexperts...joke reporters
don't you think this whole thing is askew
after a while, what lies people buy...its cut and dried
they're lyin'

slanderous little bastards...pickin' up the clues for hours
lookin' at the covers...playin' ditties backwards
man, you should have seen them checkin' out his barefoot toes
this ain't no late man...please get it straight , man
what's all this paul fuss ?...pooh pooh the news
pooh pooh the news...pooh pooh the news...pooh pooh the news
pooh pooh the news...pooh pooh the news...pooh pooh the news

big shot...dead, not...but the story's red hot
big shot...dead, not...but the story's red hot
bury his body ?...hell, he's not dead
the press are all villains..of that i have no doubt
oh, is he dead ?...he ain't done, brother
hell, no

One point for each Beatle, including Pete Best. Come to think of it, "the Walrus was Paul".

I heard that Macca is having domestic problems, which calls for a sequel of this tune ("Please don't divorce us...gonna get screwed!"). In the meantime, I humbly admit that your Walrus parody is better than mine, with backwards messages and the King Lear dialogue and all. 555

555, I remember listeing to the part of "I'm so tired" backwards which goes "Paul is dead man, miss him, miss him, miss him!" The recording is very clear(To where it sounds intentional, even though They deny recording it. But from what I heard from a co-worker, the band was having internal problems at the time). Although it's obvious that Paul's not dead.

Excellent job - I was kind of expecting this to be about the Macca marriage, but that would have been remarkably quick off the mark...

Great job! No, Paul's not dead...but he's probably not very happy right now.

Beatlesfan-tastic, alvin! To use one of the clue-ridden OSes to deny the very same clues, and in John's voice, is a stroke of inspired genius - and topped off with great pacing - loved it - 555

Maybe the best Walrus parody yet. I just hope you didn't write it on Wednesday morning at five o'clock, as the day began.

Sounds like something Lennon would actually write! Great job!
